Alison Ann Sweeney, an American actress and director of reality TV shows is also a scriptwriter. Sweeney is best known for her role as Samantha Sami Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives a part she was contracted to play for the series from January 6 1993 to October 30th, 2014. Sweeney finally decided that she had had enough of popular fads such as grapefruit diets and cabbage soups in 1999. She stopped fads, such as grapefruit and the cabbage soup diet, and made healthier choices like avoiding alcohol and sugary drinks, as well as starting boot-camp fitness classes.
